Electro Cat
Interesting story which is before you is actually the letter written by Nikola Tesla in 1939. and addressed to a little girl named Pola Fotitch, daughter of Konstantin Fotitch, then delegate to the Yugoslav Assembly, who later became the first Ambassador of Yugoslavia to the United States. Two years before this, it was Mr. Fotitch who handed down the Medal of White Eagle of Kingdom of Yugoslavia to Nikola Tesla.
In this letter, which is presented bilingually, in English original and Serbian translation, aged Tesla nostalgically tells his recollections of his childhood in village Smiljan in Lika, giving special attention to the occasion when thanks to his best childhood friend, family cat, he encountered electricity for the first time in a fascinating way. This event determined whole of his future life.
