Serbian Rulers from the 9th to the 20th century
An important work of Serbian historiography. The history of the Serbian people and their countries is presented through the biographies and destinies of Serbian rulers and dynasties, "in all centuries and vortices". Made to order and produced by the Institute for National Publicity "Narodno delo", first printed in 1927, its new edition includes fifty-eight rulers, from Prince Vlastimir in the 9th century to King Peter II in the 20th century. The author is Dr. Stanoje Stanojevic (1874 - 1937), Serbian historian, student of Vatroslav Jagic and Konstantin Jiricek in Vienna, professor at the University of Belgrade, academician, director and editor of the National Encyclopedia, writer of the famous History of the Serbian people.
The edition "Princip Presa" has been updated, changed and significantly supplemented, made as a modern representative monograph. It is richly illustrated: portraits, coats of arms, insignia, endowments, painting historical scenes related to specific rulers and dynasties. A book to have, read and donate.
