Tito in Anecdotes
English version of this book was printed in 1972 but wasn't available to readers, because every copy of book was, in mysterious way, removed from market and burnt.
The authors
Zvonko Staubringer was born in 1931 in the town of Herceg -Novi and graduated from high school in Vinkovci, Croatia. For many years, he served as an editor of newspaper "Borba" (Struggle) and of the journal "Komunist". In addition to a larg number of articles and feature stories about Tito, he has also published two books:
1) "Tito -The Chronicle of His Youth" (1970) and
2) "Tito's Residence" (1971)
Miloje Popovic was born in 1936 in Belgrade, where he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Belgrade University. As an editor of «Mladost" (Youth) and a correspondent of «Politika" he has writen many articles and feature stories. He has also published the following books:
1) "Students and Politics" (1965), and
2) "I Was in China After the Cultural revolution" (1973)
Apart from the book "Tito in Anecdotes", Staubringer and Popovic have jointly published a six-volume book of biographical stories about Tito entitled ,360 Stories About Tito" (in 1972).
